About Sister Speech
Sister Speech is rooted in a unique connection: three sisters who are all speech-language pathologists and share a passion for supporting children and their families. Sister Speech is currently led by the oldest sister helping little voices grow!
Corbin Tilson
M.S., CCC-SLP
Corbin is the oldest of three sisters, all of whom are speech-language pathologists, and the heart behind Sister Speech. She is passionate about helping children find their voices, build confidence, and feel understood. Outside of speech therapy, Corbin is a wife to her husband, Matt, and a busy mom to their four boys. Life at home is full of laughter, sports, noise, and plenty of adventure—and she wouldn’t have it any other way! Her experience as both a speech-language pathologist and a mom has shaped her belief that therapy should feel natural, supportive, and connected to a child’s everyday life. When she’s not working with families, you can usually find Corbin reading, cooking, or spending time at Lake Anna with her crew.
I believe strongly in the "gut feeling" that families experience when they are worried about their child, but they aren't being heard by family, community, and providers. I know that looking at the whole child, and LISTENING to families, contributes to the best outcomes. Parent coaching and education is a big part of my practice and is extremely important to me. I LOVE working closely with parents and caregivers and have gained more perspective and understanding since having my own child.
Corbin continues to participate in continuing education, demonstrating her passion for lifelong learning by earning the "Award for Continuing Education" through her professional organization. She has completed intermediate to advanced level training in the following content areas:
